Sr Brand Project Manager (Digital Marketing Operations)

About the job:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has experience within a B2C and CPG company to join us. You will work directly with the Brand Lead to manage branded marketing campaign projects, product innovations, re-formulation or packaging updates, photo or video shoots, event participation, and other branded projects as assigned by the Brand Lead or Associate Director of Project Management.

Role Overview:

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficiency and timeliness of all projects and optimize the Brand Marketing department processes for operational excellence. You will play a critical role in driving key brand initiatives to fruition in a timely and cohesive manner. You will work with teams across various departments to drive cross-functional planning and collaboration on all assigned projects, ensuring connectivity across all channels and with multiple partners.

Your duties will include supporting operations, workflow, and resource allocation across the Brand Marketing department and aggregating information under one holistic view. You will manage weekly planning and long-range forecasting, navigate risks, proactively assess issues, and provide solutions. You will monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. You will demonstrate creative and innovative thinking, teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

Sample Responsibilities:

  • Support operations, workflow, and resource allocation across the department and aggregate information under one holistic view.
  • Manage weekly planning and long-range forecasting, navigate risks, proactively assess issues, and provide solutions.
  • Manage status reporting and remediation as appropriate regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Communicate effectively to stakeholders, partners, and leadership across all phases of work.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Provide administrative support with the development of scopes, decks, meetings, and presentations to Ops dept, Brand Lead and Head of Brand as needed.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing priorities to help teams produce on-time deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across multiple channels.
  • Have a deep understanding of project management including the marketing process and process-related problem-solving skills
  • Have knowledge of project management best practices, project management platforms, waterfall, and some Agile principles.
  • Day-to-day coordination of projects within our project management software—from intake to completion—as well as liaising between branding team and various departments and stakeholders throughout the company as it relates to project brief questions, scopes, resources, timelines, reviews and approvals
  • Lead kickoff meetings and check-ins with project stakeholders and creative team to ensure alignment on project needs and progress
  • Be a self-starter and detail-oriented in execution of daily tasks.


  • 5+ years of experience working in a marketing project management role in an e-commerce or CPG company
  • Managing product launches, intricate and complex projects to optimize, increase retention and brand awareness
  • Experience within a DTC company a plus
  • Creativity: Strong intellectual curiosity, ability to “think out of the box”,
  • Project Management Experience a Must: ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders, complex inputs, and time sensitive deadlines
  • Thought Leadership & Communication skills: Strong written/verbal skills with management, marketing team, x-functional, etc.
  • Time management: Effectively manage workload by prioritizing and managing multiple assignments
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Hands-on attitude, highly motivated, willing to roll-up the sleeves and execute at a very tactical level
  • Flexibility: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with constant change and learning on the fly
  • Experience with light data analysis and making data driven decisions
  • Proficient with content management systems and google docs, spreadsheets
  • Experience with health/ wellness and beauty industry is a plus
