Social Media Specialist

We are searching for a Social Media Specialist to join our growing team! This is an opportunity to be successful in helping us grow our social feeds, communities and promoting engagement through programs and campaigns. Experience in the health/ wellness industries is a major plus. 

This role is responsible for coordinating social strategy across multiple social channels, growing our social community, and actively improving engagement rates across social media platforms. The position requires a candidate that is innately detail oriented, outgoing, flexible and has inherent follow-up skills and high energy. You are also a creative at heart with a deep passion for social content creation, extensive knowledge of current industry trends, and is well versed with all social media platforms (both paid and organic), content marketing, and community management.  This is a highly deadline-driven and data driven environment. With the variety of required tasks, an ability to prioritize and stay organized is critical. The right candidate will be a go-getter interested in exposure to digital marketing for the health and wellness industries. 

Execute internal social media strategy and best practices across various social media channels – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc
Responding in a timely manner to all of the comments and direct messages across our social media channels as well as product pages
Come up with all of the post/story/board concepts, executive the creative, and write copy 
Research past posts for learnings and performance optimization
Work with our Creative Brand Managers to develop lead generation strategies through social media
Ensuring our customers and community members are engaged, answering questions, solving problems and replying to customer service inquiries
Optimizing social media performance through organic and paid efforts 
Minimum 3-years of marketing/brand management or social media
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of social media platforms as well as social media management platforms
Ability to write clear, engaging and consistent messaging with the company’s target audience in mind
Ability to analyze social campaigns and their effect on business and marketing objectives

Salary - $50,000 - 55,000
