Project Manager Lifecycle

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Marketing team. You will be responsible for assisting in all operational aspects of the Marketing department, supporting Email, SMS and other campaigns and projects across all of our health and beauty brands. You will also support campaign quality assurance (QA) as needed, to proofread and test email or SMS campaigns

Previous experience working within a waterfall framework executing email marketing / digital marketing support including testing capabilities is required. The Project Manager will also assist the Operations department with project hours tracking, resource allocation, and Gantting of large company initiatives within the Lifecycle department.

This person will be extremely collaborative, analytical, organized, capable of prioritizing projects, establishing a clear vision and rallying cross-functional teammates to achieve results. 


Scope approved projects by hours required for each of Copywriting, Design, Development and QA. Compare to the hours available and identify shortages or overages.
Gantt approved projects after scoping, and optimize the schedule so that each week is full but manageable for Copywriting, Design, Development and QA.
Create and manage tickets for campaign work in Hive, our ticketing software (similar to JIRA)
Attend or lead several recurring meetings: daily standups, weekly Kanbans and project standups for company-wide projects that the department supports with Email/SMS campaigns. 
Lead process improvements, i.e. to streamline email production, to adjust for new methods of working as the department grows. Help solution the best way to improve processes, lead those improvements and create documents as needed for the team to follow.
Keep on top of status of all projects. Flag when a project is at risk of not meeting a deadline and suggest adjustments that can be made.  
Perform quality assurance (QA) on email and SMS campaigns: proofread, check for proper rendering, check all link URLs and tracking codes


5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in an e-commerce or marketing agency environment
3+ years of experience working within digital marketing or CRM
2+ years experience with Project Management software: Hive, Jira, Asana or similar 
Experience scoping projects and building Gantt charts. Ability to translate project strategy into project elements for scoping
Software savvy - experienced with Excel, Google applications including Google Sheets, and Adobe Creative Suite, Slack
Experience running Kanbans/Standup meetings
Experience managing dozens of projects simultaneously, facing tight deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders. 
Experience performing QA for digital campaigns strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ease with junior, senior and executive level staff
Highly organized, detail oriented
Enthusiastic and proactive approach to solving problems


Salary - $70,000 - $75,000  (based on skills and experience)
